Bob Zimmerli – Owner
Robert Jr., has over 50 years of powder coating experience. Starting out as a Line Manager here at Plastonics, he eventually made his way up the ladder with his hard work and determination. Previously holding such positions as Production Manager and Sales Manager, it was only natural for him to step into the roll of President after his father, Robert Sr. retired in 1990. His extensive powder coating knowledge is essential, especially when it comes to finding creative solutions, both for our customers and for our own facility.
Brian Zimmerli – President
Brian is now our 3rd generation President. His very first job was held right here at Plastonics, working as a line worker while he was still in high school. Now with over 14 years of experience under his belt, he’s been recognized by Products Finishing as a “Top 40 Under 40” of the most influential professionals in the Finishing Industry. Now, he is working hard to bring the company up to speed by updating equipment, renovating our building, and investing in life-long employees who care about the quality we deliver. Brian’s main focus is making sure Plastonics is on the right track to thrive for many years to come, and that starts with delivering the best customer experience in the business! He is continuously striving to make sure we offer top notch quality and reasonable turn around times to keep our customers happy.
Bruce Hallden – Chief Financial Officer
Bruce has been with Plastonics, Inc for over 50 years, starting here almost immediately following his graduation from the Hartford Institute of Accounting. He has been the Accountant and Controller for his entire career, but along the way has built up all the knowledge and tricks of the trade here in our powder coating world which are very valuable to us. He strives to make sure customers receive their invoices on time, and any billing questions are answered properly.
Steve Rizner – Quality Manager
Steve likes to be hands on and is not afraid to get his hands dirty doing anything that that is needed. He was initially hired to get Plastonics ISO Certified to the current standards. He brings with him an extensive background in quality management, process engineering and environmental compliance. Steve has been a Quality Manager for over 32 years in the manufacturing industry. Along with quality Steve is in charge of our environmental compliance. For customers that require medical validations or automotive PPAP qualifications Steve is there for the task.
Gayle Wziontko – Production Manager
Gayle is our “glue” here at Plastonics, Inc. She started with us in 1998 as a Receptionist, and has worked her way up to Production Manager. Working hand in hand with our Production Floor Supervisor, Marcos, she schedules production, coordinates staffing needs, and even assists with shipping and receiving when necessary. One of her other main duties is Customer Service, where she informs customers of order status and creates any requested documentation for shipment. Her daily goal is to provide our customers with the quality of production they expect, in a timely manner and with exceptional customer service.
